ArmInfo. On August 11, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to Armenia, Amal Afifi, on the occasion of Egypt's national holiday, Revolution Day.  According to the presidential press service, Vahagn  Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador and the friendly people of Egypt, asking her to convey his congratulations to Egyptian President  Abdel Fattah el- Sisi.

ArmInfo. On August 11, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received ambassadors of Arab states  accredited to Armenia.

ArmInfo. On August 1, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the Meridian Exhibition Center, where preparations  are underway for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17), scheduled for this October.

ArmInfo. This August, both air and ambient temperatures in Armenia will be within the climatic norm. This was announced by Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the RA Ministry of Environment.

ArmInfo. On June 12, the "Strong Armenia" bloc appealed to the Central Election Commission demanding that the results of the June 7 parliamentary elections be  declared invalid.

ArmInfo. Officials holding European Union (EU) and United Nations (UN) travel documents will soon be permitted to stay in the Republic of Armenia visa-free  for up to 180 days per year. The decision was officially approved  during a government meeting on June 11.

ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities intend to temporarily lift the restriction, in effect since 2008, under which citizens of certain countries could only  obtain entry visas to Armenia through diplomatic missions and  consulates upon invitation.

ArmInfo. The Bright Armenia Party opposes the formation of an absolute power in the National Assembly. This was stated by party leader and RA Prime Ministerial candidate Edmon Marukyan during a campaign in the city of Gavar on May 13.

ArmInfo.  Environmental impact assessments will be liberalized in Armenia. At its April 30 meeting,  the National Assembly's Committee on Territorial Administration,  Local Self-Government, Agriculture, and Environmental Protection  issued a positive opinion on the amendments to the Law "On  Environmental Impact Assessment" submitted by the RA government.

ArmInfo.  To mark the announcement of Meghri as the CIS Cultural Capital in 2026, official delegations from CIS member states, cultural figures, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, and the leadership of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS countries arrived in the city.

On April 1, Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan met with representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Armenia and international organizations at the Ministry of Foreign  Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The purpose of the meeting was to present the progress of preparatory work for the COP-17 conference
