ArmInfo. A discussion of British journalist Gabriel Gavin's book "Ashes of Our Fathers: The Story of the Fall of Nagorno-Karabakh" will take place in Yerevan.
According to a report received by ArmInfo, the discussion will feature former Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Ashot Ghulyan, and former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Karen Mirzoyan.
In "Ashes of Our Fathers: The Story of the Fall of Nagorno-Karabakh," Politico correspondent Gabriel Gavin presents the events unfolding from the 2020 war to the exodus of Armenians from Artsakh in September 2023, through the eyes of an eyewitness. "I think the lack of a settlement was partly due to a lack of attention. I was bitterly disappointed in September 2023 when, despite warnings, the world did nothing, and the entire population of Nagorno-Karabakh was forced to flee their homes. It was a very bitter experience for me," the author said.
