ArmInfo.Until a legal assessment of the negative phenomena of the past is given, it will not be possible to move forward, it will be impossible to resolve the Artsakh issue. This was announced today at a press conference by the first number of the ''Sasna Tsrer'' list, Varuzhan Avetisyan.
According to him, transitional justice should be created, which should develop clear criteria for punishment and pardon, based on the severity of the crimes committed. "Those who have committed relatively minor crimes can be pardoned subject to payment of various fines, compensation for damage, but those who committed major crimes are not subject to pardon", Avetisyan said.
He also said that with the current authorities, almost nothing has changed - there were parking fines, traffic violations, and an accumulative pension system.
Avetisyan also expressed dissatisfaction with the recent amnesty in Armenia, calling it a mockery of the society and those serving sentences. "A new, large-scale amnesty should be announced that will affect everyone, including life-long prisoners", he said.
Avetisyan also touched upon the problems in the economy, calling the country's economic system degenerative, which only consumes, practically producing nothing. "Today, our domestic production is based solely on the mining industry, there are, however, advances in tourism and energy, but this is not enough. As for the banking system, it resembles usury", Avetisyan said.
At the same time, he assured that the ''Sasna Tsrer'' party has developed a new economic program based on a hybrid management system, taking into account national peculiarities.
