He stressed that after coming to power he does not intend to make sharp geopolitical reversals. The oppositionist promised that after his coming to power Armenia will adhere to all international obligations taken to both the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union. "But this does not mean that these relations are impeccable, we must make sure that they are impeccable," Pashinyan assured.
He also promised that Armenia will remain part of the CSTO, since it proceeds from its strategic interests. "However, we must work towards increasing the security guarantees provided by this organization to Armenia and Artsakh," Pashinyan promised. At the same time, he assured that Armenia will build all relations with the outside world not through conflicts, but on the basis of friendly negotiations.
To note, the first foreign minister of Armenia, the leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan, who also officially defeated Serzh Sargsyan in Gyumri during the presidential elections of 2013 took part in the rally as an ordinary citizen.
