View from Stepanakert: In XXI century with the start of military actions all Armenians become "Artsakh Armenians"

ArmInfo. During the April days,  when all Ashkharh stood for Artsakh's protection, as global  phenomena, we saw clearly that in XXI century with the start of  military actions practically all Armenians become "Artsakh  Armenians". This opinion expressed to ArmInfo Hrachya Arzumanyan, the  director of Strategic Center of researches Ashkharh (Stepanakert),  expert on military and national safety issues.

"That is why the attempts of this or that centers to take Artsakh's  victory from Armenians, crush with the counteraction of all  Armenians, and not only Armenians currently living in Artsakh. If  during first Artsakh war the main part of the difficulties of war  lied to Artsakh Armenians, than today it, turns that lays on entire  Armenia and wider to Armenian nation, all Ashkharh', he noted.

At that, the analyst noted with surprise that the existence of  'dinosaurs' in Armenian policy, unwilling to understand that in the  changed situation of XXI century to interpret Artsakh issue within  the context of 90s of the previous century, is impossible. Noting the  changes by time, the evolution of concepts, meaning and  significations aimed to remain adequate of the relied situation,  within society and international community, Arzumanyan noted the  impossibility to step into the same river twice. According to him,  the river- international safety atmosphere and Armenian society and  Armenia in general have also changed.

The above mentioned, according to him refers not only to Levon  Ter-Petrosyan and his supporters, whose deviation actions make the  conversation with them meaningless and impossible. The wider problem  and this type of misunderstanding, unwillingness to see going changes  are close to practically all the political specters.

"Nation as a political phenomena do not want to accept that Artsakh  became an integral part of Armenia.  And trying to think about  possible compromises and concessions to Azerbaijan and centers of  forces behind him, we do not realize that not only Armenians born in  Artsakh take part  in operating this compromises and not only  imperative elite of Armenia.  All Armenian nation participates, who  in this case become that very Artsakh Armenians that  have  right to  make a decision on Artsakh future", he stated.

Arzumanyan notes that neither Armenian authorities, nor Armenian  society did not notice that in XXI century Artsakh is not only the  problem of national safety. Artsakh Armenians, born as a result of  capacity of all Armenian nation to protect Artsakh, have become also  public, political and ideological concept, the meaning and  significance of which is wider and goes beyond the geographical  boundaries of Artsakh.
