



ArmInfo. Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan, who is on a working visit to Georgia, accompanied by Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili, visited the forensic department and learned about its operations.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs, members of the Armenian delegation inspected laboratories equipped with modern equipment, familiarized themselves with transport and technical means, and learned about high-tech mobile forensic laboratories.
Sargsyan also observed demonstration rescue exercises in Batumi. The exercise involved personnel from the Coast Guard of the Border Police, the Special Aviation Department, and the Emergency Situations Service of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The exercise demonstrated rapid response capabilities to maritime incidents, interdepartmental coordination, and the proper organization of rescue operations. Life jackets, an unmanned aerial vehicle, and a Border Police helicopter were used during the demonstration.
