ArmInfo.The development of relations with Europe and the United States must be managed in a way that prevents Armenia from endangering its vital and trusting relationships with regional powers.

ArmInfo.  On July 22, a new postage stamp dedicated to the theme "Sports. Outstanding Armenian Football Players. Nikita Simonyan's 100th Anniversary" was put into  circulation in Armenia.

ArmInfo.  A complaint has been filed with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) regarding the case of former Nagorno-Karabakh state minister and philanthropist Ruben  Vardanyan, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Azerbaijan.  This was stated in a statement by Siranush Sahakyan, attorney and  president of the Center for International and Comparative Law, who  represents Armenian prisoners at the ECHR. Her statement was  published on Vardanyan's official social media pages. Saakyan stated  that the complaint regarding the case of Ruben Vardanyan, a citizen  of the Republic of Armenia currently held in the Umbaki Penitentiary  Complex in Azerbaijan, was filed with the ECHR on July 19, 2026.

ArmInfo.  Following Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev's visit to Germany, relations between Baku and  Berlin are moving beyond the traditional model, which saw Azerbaijan  primarily as an energy supplier. This is the opinion of Sergei  Markedonov, PhD in history, leading researcher at the Center for  Euro-Atlantic Security at the Institute of International Studies at  MGIMO University, and editor-in-chief of the journal "International  Analytics."

ArmInfo. The "3+3" regional platform is a vital mechanism for regional cooperation, and Azerbaijan is ready to host its next meeting, as stated by  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference, following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow  on July 17.

Russia consistently supports the efforts of Azerbaijan and Armenia aimed at the full and comprehensive normalization of relations, as stated by  Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov  at a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, following  their talks in Moscow.

ArmInfo.The situation in the South Caucasus is set to be one of the key items on the agenda during talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. Lavrov announced this as he opened negotiations with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, who has  arrived in Moscow for an official visit.

ArmInfo.  Russia is ready to provide the requested assistance in the full normalization of  relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including on the conclusion  of a peace treaty, border delimitation, and the unblocking of  communications. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign  Ministry in connection with the upcoming official visit to Moscow of  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and scheduled talks with  his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. 

ArmInfo.The Russian Federation fully supports the approach of keeping the "3+3" international platform—which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Iran, and Turkey—free from politicization, as stated by Maria Zakharova,  official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

ArmInfo.  Baku is a strategic partner and ally of Turkey. There's no point in pretending that there are no political contradictions between Baku and Moscow, the First  Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and  Russia's Special Representative for Migration and Citizenship noted  in an interview with the radio station "Moscow Speaking."

ArmInfo.Armenian pianist Ruben Kozin, a graduate of the Central Music School and the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, has participated in a cultural  program hosted by the Russian House in Dushanbe, marking his first  performance before a Tajik audience.

ArmInfo.  Moscow and Yerevan are bound by a special relationship and sincere love between the peoples of the two countries. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova in an interview with blogger Olga Blagoveshchenskaya.

ArmInfo.  A direct bus route from Moscow to Yerevan has been launched. The Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development announced this:

ArmInfo. Citizens of Armenia will be able to obtain an electronic visa (eVisa) to travel to Taiwan, according to the Bureau of Consular Affairs of Taiwan.

ArmInfo.  The Russian Foreign Ministry sharply criticized the appointment of Artsrun Hovhannisyan, former official representative of the Armenian Ministry of Defense,  as head of the National Defense Research University of Armenia.

ArmInfo.The European Union is not asking Armenia to choose between its partners. Vassilis Maragos, head of the EU delegation to Armenia, stated this in an  interview with Armenian Public Television.

ArmInfo.  The very fact of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's working visit to Russia  creates opportunities for restoring Armenian-Russian dialogue, but  it's too early to talk about a real thaw in bilateral relations. This  opinion was shared by political analyst and economist Grant Mikaelyan  in an interview with an ArmInfo correspondent. "The fact of the visit  itself offers certain hope and creates opportunities, given that  Moscow was initially against such a visit. We saw that the previous  meeting between Putin and Pashinyan (on April 1 — Ed.) was not very  successful," Mikaelyan noted.

ArmInfo.  Both Moscow and Brussels will expect action, not empty words, from Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The future government of the Civil Contract  party, which has lost its legitimacy and is holding on to power with  the support of the West and Turkey, will depend on this. ArmInfo.Moscow expects that the new Armenian government, formed following the elections, will ensure the development of relations with Russia in a spirit of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual respect, and due  consideration for each other's interests.
