ArmInfo. A  fellow serviceman has been detained in connection with the death of Armenian Armed Forces conscript Grigor Zakaryan. Kima Avdalyan, press  secretary of the Armenian Investigative Committee, announced the arrest on her Facebook page.

A solemn rally was held on August 17 at the "Heroes of Oshakan" monument in the Armavir Province to mark the 199th anniversary of the victory of  Russian soldiers and Armenian volunteers over vastly superior forces of the Persian army in the Battle of Oshakan. The ceremony was organized by the NGO "Russia" with the support of the Russian House in Yerevan.

ArmInfo. On August 14, Converse Bank announced  the commencement of a new $2 million bond issuance for Global Shipping LLC. According to a statement from Converse Bank, the initial placement is scheduled to be concluded on October 30, 2026.
