ArmInfo.  The current pro-Turkish regime in Armenia, by imposing the shameful, essentially  unconstitutional decision of July 4 through the Constitutional Court,  has effectively defied the majority of our people, who voted against  the regime amid widespread threats and repression. This is stated in  a statement by Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the national civic  association Hayaqve," who is under arrest.

ArmInfo.  Armenia shows the utmost respect for decisions made within the CSTO. This was stated by Anatoly Vyborny, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and  Security of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Deputy Chairman of  the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption of the Russian State  Duma, during a Moscow-Astana-Bishkek-Yerevan- Minsk video conference  dedicated to the results of the CSTO Collective Security Council  meeting and the 18th plenary session of the CSTO Parliamentary  Assembly.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the forced displacement of the people of Artsakh from their homeland, 31 French senators and members of  parliament issued a joint appeal emphasizing the need to hold  accountable those responsible for ethnic cleansing,  the release of   prisoners, to ensure the return of the Artsakh people, and  other  essential measures, as was reported by the Union of Artsakh NGO.

ArmInfo. An international conference dedicated to the preservation of the Armenian spiritual  and cultural heritage of Artsakh launched in Bern, on May 27.  As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, the event was organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) jointly with the Swiss Protestant Church at the suggestion of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

ArmInfo. A group of Artsakh residents has petitioned the prosecutor of the International Criminal  Court (ICC) to launch an investigation into Azerbaijan's actions in Nagorno-Karabakh. 

ArmInfo. Despite its claims to the contrary, Azerbaijan does not seek peace with its neighbors,  including Armenia, This is stated in an article by former Armenian  Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan, published in Newsweek.

ArmInfo. Yerevan and Tehran emphasized the importance of resolving existing issues between  Armenia and Azerbaijan exclusively through peaceful means in order to achieve stable peace and strengthen regional ties and cooperation in the South Caucasus.

ArmInfo. "In 1998, the international community made a historic decision to put an end to the  most serious international crimes by adopting the Rome Statute. In 2023, Armenia ratified the Rome Statute with a sincere belief in its high power to eliminate the most serious crimes and end the impunity. 

ArmInfo.The EU has been passing clear messages to Azerbaijan that any violation of Armenia's  territorial integrity would be unacceptable and will have severe consequences for EU-Azeri relations, Peter Stano, European Commission's lead spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy stated, when asked to comment on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's latest threats and territorial claims against Armenia.

ArmInfo. Over 120 political parties, NGOs, media outlets, and heads of local government bodies of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) signed an appeal to the international community on the occasion of the Day of the Referendum on Independence, the Constitution Day of the Republic of Artsakh, and the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights marked on 10 December.

ArmInfo. Next year, the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia will be mainly aimed at neutralizing external threats and creating a safe environment, Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan stated on November 3 during discussions in the commissions of Armenia's National Assembly on the draft state budget of the country for 2024.

ArmInfo. Japan is closely following the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh and calls on all  parties to resolve the issue peacefully, Foreign Minister of Japan told a press conference.

ArmInfo. On July 20, in Vienna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated  in the OSCE Special Permanent Council meeting which was convened at the request of Armenia. 

ArmInfo. On July 5, President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan held a meeting to discuss the operational military-political and humanitarian situation, the necessary actions to be taken by the authorities.

ArmInfo. At the end of an urgent debate on 'Ensuring free and safe access through the Lachin  Corridor', the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) today [June 22] expressed its extreme concern by events which have unfolded since the signature of the Trilateral Statement on 9  November 2020, and which culminated on 12 December 2022 with the interruption of the free and safe passage through the Lachin corridor and the subsequent deliberate cutting of electricity and gas supplies to the region.

ArmInfo. The Armenia-Azerbaijan normalisation process has, during the past month, seen an  intensification, which the European Union welcomes.

ArmInfo.The Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic note with satisfaction the sustainable development  and expansion of political ties and express their unwavering  commitment to further intensify high-level political dialogue and  economic cooperation at the bilateral level as well as within the  framework of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the OSCE and  within other international and regional organizations.
