Water supply schedule to remain unchanged 

ArmInfo. There will be no changes to the water supply schedule as a result of government intervention. RA Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure David Khudatyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

Referring to the schedule published by Veolia Jur several days ago  and its contents, the minister noted that it was considered  problematic not only by many citizens but also by the government. "A  consultative meeting was convened with the participation of all  interested entities as soon as possible. A discussion took place, and  a decision was made to suspend the schedule. Over the next two weeks,  the Water Committee, the Public Services Regulatory Commission, and  Veolia Jur are tasked with conducting additional research, following  which an improved and refined water supply schedule will be  published. This announcement is based on the capital works being  carried out in Yerevan and the regions, which have tripled in volume  in recent years. Work is continuously underway to modernize existing  infrastructure and increase the volume of water pumped to Yerevan  from newly discovered sources," the minister noted.

Earlier, Armenia's water system operator, Veolia Jur, published a  water supply schedule according to which, from May 1 to September 15  of this year, 17-hour water supply was planned in almost all regions  of the country, including Yerevan. This provoked a sharply negative  public reaction.
