Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, has urged journalists to approach the coverage of individuals returned from Azerbaijan to Armenia with the utmost responsibility and sensitivity, emphasizing the importance of respecting their right to privacy and the rights of their families.
"Dear journalists, we ask you to approach the coverage of individuals returned from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Armenia with the utmost responsibility and sensitivity. We urge you to respect the privacy rights of these individuals and their families, as well as their decisions regarding publication, filming, or other forms of publicity," Baghdasaryan wrote on her social media page.
Recall, on January 14, 2026, the Republic of Azerbaijan handed over David Davtyan, Gevorg Sujyan, Vicken Euljekjian and Vagif Khachatryan to the Republic of Armenia.
