ArmInfo. The transfer of prisoners to the Armenian side was a result of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as noted in a statement issued by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
The statement recalls that on January 14, 2026, the Republic of Azerbaijan transferred David Davtyan, Gevorg Sujyan, Vicken Euljekjian, and Vagif Khachatryan to the Republic of Armenia.
"This process became the practical result of the peace agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan," the NSS statement noted.
