Two public prosecutors relieved of posts 

ArmInfo. The public prosecutor in the cases against Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan, Primate of the Shirak Diocese, and Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, has been dismissed.

The order dismissing First Class Justice Advisor Arman Baghdasaryan  was signed by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan on January 7.

"To dismiss First Class Justice Advisor Arman Baghdasaryan, Deputy  Head of the Department for Crimes against the Foundations of the  Constitutional Order, State and Public Security of the RA Prosecutor  General's Office, from his position," the document states.

It is noted that Baghdasaryan's own resignation was taken as the  basis. The reasons for the resignation are not disclosed. Prosecutor  Armen Baghdasaryan, who was involved in the case of Sona  Mnatsakanyan's death after being struck by Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan's motorcade, also resigned.

Arman Baghdasaryan asked the court to sentence Archbishop Mikael  Ajapakhyan to two and a half years in prison, but the court sentenced  him to two years.
