At negotiations with Azerbaijan, Armenian premier never said anything  in conflict with his previous statements 

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave assurances that he said nothing during the negotiations with Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that contradicted his public statements.

"All my positions have been publicly stated. You have been familiar  with my positions since 2018, and you are familiar with their  changes. From that day until today, I have never said anything in any  negotiating room that contradicts my publicly stated positions,"  Pashinyan said in a conversation with journalists on November 12,  commenting on recent statements by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister  Jeyhun Bayramov.

As a reminder, Bayramov stated in an interview that the first contact  between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan after he came to power took place in  September 2018 in Dushanbe. According to him, Nikol Pashinyan's  position at the time was quite constructive: he said, "I just came to  power and will take the necessary steps to resolve the conflict."

Jeyhun Bayramov added that some time after that meeting, Pashinyan  changed his position: "He even stated that if he took steps to  resolve the conflict, he would be killed. He said, 'Do you want me  killed?'" Mr. President responded by noting that we do not wish death  on anyone.

Later, in 2019, according to the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign  Ministry, Pashinyan uttered the phrase, "Karabakh is Armenia,  period." And on July 10, 2020, a new national security concept for  Armenia was prepared, which included consolidating the results of the  First Karabakh War, which marked a "red line" being crossed. "Later,  a statement was made that Azerbaijan should negotiate with members of  the so- called 'Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.'" This meant the complete  destruction of the entire negotiation system that had existed up to  that time," emphasized Jeyhun Bayramov.
