


ArmInfo. Ayshat Baimuradova, a 23year old Chechen woman, who had fled to Armenia to escape domestic violence, was found dead in Yerevan. The press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs Police reported this on Monday.
"On October 19, a citizen called the Police Operations Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and reported the discovery of a woman's body in a rented apartment on Demirchyan Street in Yerevan. Police task forces were dispatched to the location. It was determined that the body belonged to 23-year-old Ayshat Baimuradova, who went missing on October 17," the police statement read.
The department emphasized that forensic examinations have been ordered, and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Earlier, activist Daniil Chebykin reported on his Telegram channel that Aishat Baimuradova had not return from her evening walk on October 15 and had stopped responding to calls.
