ArmInfo. A collective society of "new Armenians" will lead to a complete renunciation of statehood, which neighbors will inevitably exploit. If the "new Armenian" becomes the master of the country (either by becoming the majority or by retaining power), Armenia will no longer exist. This is what Vahe Hovhannisyan, a member of the Alternative Projects Group, writes in his article.
According to him, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently forming a new Armenian identity. "He is doing this deliberately. We are unforgivably missing this crucial process, not treating it with the seriousness it deserves. This is not the standard election race you imagine. The processes missed today cannot be corrected later, during the election campaign. Defeated societies either rise up (with the emergence of a new healthy leadership) or transform, degrade. It has not yet been possible to pull society out of the grave of defeat. In fact, I am sure that this is possible, but it is important to understand the process taking place today. Before your eyes, in this historical perspective, the formation of a "new Armenian", a new Armenian society, is truly taking place. Many other peoples have had similar phases, when they massively "voluntarily" engaged in inhumane behavior. It is very difficult to give precise formulations of what exactly is being formed. Nikol does not commit all the outrages alone, he does it with the support of this stratum. The status of a "stubborn Armenian" implies the ability to endure everything, accept all losses, the lack of independent thinking, ignoring common ideas, The denial of the idea of national dignity, etc. This is a case where Nikol's abilities cannot be underestimated. He is capable and has at least two strong supporting factors. First of all, we are talking about the "voluntary movement for the destruction of the homeland." Thousands of Armenians have voluntarily joined the cause of the destruction of the state. With various motives: status, money, business, friendships, etc., they voluntarily serve this agenda, fulfilling all its instructions. Thousands, understanding what they are doing, do it anyway. Another number do it without understanding. Working with these two layers has a significant methodological difference. The second imposed factor is the Armenian version of "Let's live in peace." There is a global modern trend. Priorities and qualities of societies are changing around the world, and "let's live in peace" is in some sense becoming an international trend: indifference to the environment and common ideas, focusing exclusively on one's own life and problems. Nikol is brilliantly exploiting this global wave, creating its Armenian version," the political scientist notes.
In his opinion, in the case of Armenia, the collective society of the New Armenians will lead to a complete renunciation of statehood, which neighbors will inevitably exploit. If the "New Armenian" becomes master of the country, becoming the majority or retaining power, Armenia will no longer exist. "This is not a theoretical judgment, we have already seen the history of Artsakh, we have already seen the history of Gaza. We see what we see, it only remains to finally understand it. This government has a colossal destructive force that should never be underestimated. We must work with and for every Armenian, from all social strata and groups. We must treat them with respect, forever forgetting about mentoring. In a defeated country, there are no winners. We must work seriously, create serious systems, invest serious resources, rise above our petty ideas and lists that need to be compiled. They are not the strongest, their strength lies in our weakness. The struggle for success has extremely important characteristics: literacy, prudence, honesty, superiority over one's own "ego". The government can be destroyed with our permission, but there is no chance of victory. The position, money, the fear factor, the propaganda machine of lies will give a certain amount. Despite all this, the opportunity to live peacefully in your country, to remain "The level of a normal person is much higher. However, these processes must be carried out in an organized manner. The authorities are an organized force; they cannot be confronted by an amateur team, by incompetence or episodic infighting, and by group ideas.
To win elections, you must win in social processes. Is this really so difficult to understand?" Vahe Hovhannisyan concluded.
