ArmInfo. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke about the content of his conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting in Yerevan.
"At the meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, I emphasized that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is convinced of the need to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia and continue friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the need to completely eliminate our concerns about the presence of third forces near the common border," Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on his Twitter (X).
The Iranian President was on an official visit to Armenia on August 18-19, where he held talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan. As a result of the talks, 10 documents on cooperation in various areas were signed.
