RA MFA Russia Today and Radio Liberty of disseminating same false  theses related to country`s route through Syunik

ArmInfo.  Press Secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan accused "Russia Today" and "Radio Liberty" of actively disseminating the same false theses related to the country's route through Syunik.

At the same time, the representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry  wondered whether this is a situation from the fantasy genre?

"This synchronicity, which seemed incredible and related to the  fantasy genre at the time, is clearly visible not only in the titles  and content of the materials published almost simultaneously by  "Russia Today" and "Radio Liberty", but also in the identical photo  collages to them. It is difficult to consider this a simple  coincidence," she noted.

According to Badalyan, the "information" reflected in such  publications has no relation to reality and is regarded by Yerevan as  part of a hybrid war against the sovereignty and territorial  integrity of the Republic of Armenia.

"Radio Liberty outdid itself yesterday, forgetting the minimum  knowledge of geography and looking for non-existent territories,  non-existent names on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Let  us recall that in the Republic of Armenia there is a territory called  "Syunik", and the use of different toponyms calls into question  respect for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia,"  added the representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

According to her, it is difficult to call it a coincidence that such  materials are sometimes published without prior proper clarification  of the position of the Armenian Foreign Ministry on their content.

"Another article published on the radio station's website on the same  day said that "the Foreign Ministry press secretary was unavailable  today," although the press secretary literally immediately  communicated directly with the coordinator of the relevant  publication, expressing official dissatisfaction with the publication  about Syunik and demanding that the material be removed.

In the end, unprofessionalism and conscientious journalism or  ordinary manipulation? We leave the right to choose to the  subscribers and readers of this post, although for us the answer is  obvious: all together," she noted.

In conclusion, Badalyan advised, instead of deleting the post, to  think about its consequences in advance.  She accompanied her  publication on Facebook with a photo of the publications of the  above-mentioned publications.

Radio Liberty posted a video about the so-called "Zangezur Corridor"  on its X (Twitter) page. The video was titled: "Iran is afraid of  this, Turkey dreams of this, the US wants to be part of it. Welcome  to Zangezur." Thus, the radio station used narratives artificially  introduced by the Azerbaijani side. After criticism, this post was  deleted.
