Yerevan to host U16 European Volleyball Championship - MOESCS

ArmInfo.  Yerevan will host the U16 European Volleyball Championship, as reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

According to the source, the tournament will be held from July 23 to  August 5. Approximately 500 athletes from France, Poland, Italy,  Hungary, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain,  Ukraine, Austria, Greece, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania will  participate in it. A total of 60 matches will be held.

MESCS also notes that the U20 Division B European Basketball  Championship is currently taking place in Yerevan. Throughout the  year, Armenia will also host the Division IV Ice Hockey World  Championship and the 60th European Karate Championship.
