Issues of justice addressed to government, premier in Armenia - Nikol Pashinyan 

ArmInfo. There are many dilemmas in Armenia, and a certain part of these dilemmas is related to the judicial system, and more intensive work is needed to resolve them. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at an event dedicated to the judicial system, as reported by the press service of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers. 

In Armenia, there is a somewhat subjective and somewhat  understandable perception that questions regarding justice and  fairness are mainly addressed to the government and, to a large extent, to the Prime Minister personally. Why was this person arrested and that person not arrested, why was this person convicted and that person not convicted, why was this sentence passed and not another sentence passed?

It never occurs to anyone to go to the judges, to turn to the  judicial system to ask these questions and get answers. Everyone comes to the government for answers to these questions, they turn to the political authorities, and this in some sense can be perceived as a result of a misunderstanding of how the state system works. But on the other hand, there is also objectivity here, because, nevertheless, it is the political power that sets the tasks during the elections that the public administration system must implement and solve in the coming period, " Nikol Pashinyan noted, adding that the current public administration system has an important feature.

According to him, no other government agency comes out to the people from time to time and answers citizens' questions, especially today, when national elections concern only the formation of the legislative and, as a consequence, the executive power. , - he noted.

As Pashinyan noted, no program will be successful if there is no independent judicial system that inspires confidence in every citizen, every business entity, investor in the sense that it can manage potential risks that may arise in the course of partnerships. In his opinion, no matter how isolated the various branches of government are, they have a common task. This task is to have an organic connection with the people and their aspirations, while I am not saying that the authorities should immediately implement the aspirations and ideas of the people. , - the head of the Cabinet said.

According to him, the authorities must have a better understanding and take more concrete steps every day so that there is no impression that justice and fairness are available only to the elite. "The government has set a task for itself, and I would like to share this task with you: we must ensure that fairness and fairness are synonymous in the Republic of Armenia, truth and fairness are synonymous, legality, justice and truth are synonymous, and a reality is built on this foundation that will deepen, strengthen and make  permanent the faith of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia in their homeland and their state," the Prime Minister noted.
