Bilingual catalog dedicated to Armenian cinema released 

ArmInfo.As part of the 21st olden Apricot Film Festival, a bilingual catalog dedicated to  Armenian cinema for the period from 1924 to 2022 was published, covering some episodes of 2023.

The catalog contains as comprehensive information as possible about  feature films, documentaries and animation films shot in Armenia or  in co-production. The source for the catalog was information provided  by the National Film Center of Armenia, the Hayk documentary film  studio, the RA Public Television, as well as independent Armenian  film producers and film studios.

The first such attempt was made in the early 60s by one of the  founders of Armenian cinema, Daniel Dznuni. During those years,  Dznuni compiled a list of films from the previous 35 years, as well  as a bibliography of books and articles related to Armenian cinema.

But the first trilingual (Armenian-English-Russian) edition of the  "Armenian Cinema" catalog was published in 2000 on the initiative of  the Association of Cinematographers and Film Journalists of Armenia  and included Armenian films shot between 1924 and 1999.

The second edition of the "Armenian Cinema" catalogue, published in  2009 with the support of the Golden Apricot Cinema Development Fund  and the RA Ministry of Culture, was supplemented by Armenian films  shot between 2000 and 2008.
