Secretary of the Security Council: the Armenian people are investing  heavily in the security of Artsakh with their work

The current government, which divided the nation, looking for enemies among its own nation, surrendered Artsakh, humiliated the national dignity of  the people, today blames the opposition for all mortal sins.  Secretary of the opposition faction <Armenia> Artsvik Minasyan stated  this on December 20 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia.

He added that the faction denies the cheap accusations of the  government representatives against the opposition, which is already  becoming a tragedy. It is impossible to imagine such a government,  which, not understanding the demands of the opposition, immediately  accuses it of not recognizing Artsakh during its 30-year rule,  Minasyan continued. <30 years Artsakh was actually independent, its  population grew, and the Armenians of the whole world turned the  issue of Artsakh into the number one problem. During your reign, you  failed all this, ruined Artsakh, and now who do you blame for all  this, and for what? The army is weakened, the security environment is  destroyed," Minasyan said, adding that the opposition supports the  activities of the Russian peacekeeping forces, which today are the  only body that more or less ensures the security of Artsakh. "But we  also issued an appeal in which we called on the Russian authorities  to take all necessary actions to resolve the current situation. Why  are you silent about this? Or are you pleased to raise anti-Russian  hysteria>, the oppositionist asked.

In turn, Secretary of the RA Security Council Armen Grigoryan noted  that the most important component of the unity of the nation is the  holding of free and fair elections, on the basis of which the society  elects the government. The falsification of elections, the theft of  votes are one of the factors that discredit the nation.  From this  point of view, the Secretary of the Security Council continued, one  can assess what political force ensured the unity of the nation. <The  recent elections to the National Assembly, which were held twice and  which were recognized as free and fair by the international  community, are a clear confirmation of this. Do not try to cheapen  the labor of the people who pay taxes with their labor, the funds  from which are directed to solving the most important problems,  including the security problems of both Armenia and Artsakh>, Armen  Grigoryan said, addressing the opposition. He added that finances are  one of the most important efforts of the Armenian people investing in  the security of Artsakh. "Our government is making daily efforts  aimed at ensuring the rights and security of the people of Artsakh,"  the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia stressed, adding  that most of the work of the body involved in foreign policy  activities is related to Artsakh. "Over the past 2 months, I alone  made 14 visits, on the agenda of which the most significant place was  given to the problems of Nagorno-Karabakh," Armen Grigoryan said.
