


ArmInfo.The results of the quadripartite meeting held in Prague on October 6 between the Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, French President Emmanuel Macron, the European Council Charles Michel and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as the situation in the region, were discussed during a telephone conversation by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the High Representative of the European Union (EU) Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
According to Azerbaijani media, Borrell informed Bayramov about the preparatory work for the EU mission and highly appreciated the results of the Prague meeting, noting the EU's commitment to establish peace and stability in the region.
Bayramov, in turn, brought to the attention the expectations from the Prague meeting in terms of contribution to peace in the region. He also stressed that during the Geneva meeting the elements of a peace treaty were presented to Armenia, it is necessary to start work on a peace treaty and delimitation in the near future. During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest.
