Valerie Boyer launches campaign in support of Armenia

ArmInfo.Member of the National Assembly of France founding member of the France-Artsakh Friendship Circle Valerie Boyer  published a photo of an Armenian  girl on her Facebook page and called for starting a movement in  support of Armenia.  

"I invite France, together with European and  international institutions, to launch a great movement for Armenia.  There can be no double standards between Ukraine attacked by Russia  and Armenia attacked by Azerbaijan," she wrote, adding the hashtags  #SaveArmenia #StandWithArmenia.

On the night of September 13, the Armed Forces of the Republic of  Azerbaijan began large-scale military operations on the border with  Armenia using UAVs and large-caliber weapons. Armenia turned to  Russia, the CSTO and the UN Security Council in connection with the  aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia.   In connection with the current situation, the RA police switched to  enhanced service. There are reports of dead and wounded on both  sides. According to the RA Prime Minister, there are 135 killed  servicemen on the Armenian side, but the data is not final. And  Azerbaijan confirmed the death of its 80 soldiers. The UN Security  Council, at the suggestion of France, held a special meeting on  September 14-15 because of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani  border.  Armenia initiated a special meeting of the OSCE Council.   Following the results of the special meeting, the CSTO sent a mission  to Armenia to prepare a report on the situation.  The border guard  department of the FSS of the Russian Federation in the Republic of  Armenia was also affected by the aggression of the Azerbaijani armed  forces, which was attacked by Azerbaijani units on September 13 -14.  

The Armenian side stated that with the participation of the  international community, it was possible to reach an agreement on a  ceasefire along the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border  from 20:00 on September 14.  We add that on September 17 in the  evening, the Azerbaijani side handed over to Armenia the bodies of 32  Armenian soldiers.  According to Armenian human rights activists, as  a result of the latest aggression, up to 20 Armenian servicemen may  be in Azerbaijani captivity. It is noteworthy that the Armenian  Defense Ministry still does not publish its lists of the killed  servicemen.  It should also be noted that on September 20, the enemy  handed over the bodies of another 95 servicemen to Armenia and  another 6 bodies were handed over on September 23.
