Speaker: Azerbaijani armed forces deliberately attack civil  infrastructures

ArmInfo. The armed forces of Azerbaijan deliberately attack civilian infrastructures, shelling them. This is stated in the official address of President of the  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan to the  international partners.

The official address issued by the press service of the National  Assembly emphasizes that Azerbaijan continues to intensively shell  Armenian positions in the direction of Sotk, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan,  Artanis, Ishkhanasar, Jermuk and adjacent settlements, using unmanned  aerial vehicles and mortars. "There are casualties on the Armenian  side, including among civilians. The Armenian side suffered  significant losses in military equipment. The armed forces of  Azerbaijan do not stop their offensive attempts," the appeal  emphasizes.

The NA Speaker drew the attention of international partners to the  fact that in recent days, on a daily basis, the military-political  leadership of Azerbaijan has been creating an information base for  this military provocation, spreading false information every day  about alleged shelling by the Armenian side. Alen Simonyan recalled  that this behavior is a well-known Azerbaijani style, which  manifested itself after the 2020 44-day war in Artsakh. <In  connection with the aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign  territory of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian government  appealed to the UN Security Council, the Collective Security Treaty  Organization (CSTO) and the Russian Federation. It is obvious that  the egregious and illegal actions of Azerbaijan became possible  because of the silence of the international community. The lack of a  purposeful response and adequate actions today has led to a more  aggressive policy of the Azerbaijani authorities >, Alen Simonyan  concluded, calling for measures to be taken to resolve this vital  issue and help stop Azerbaijan's aggression, which undermines  stability and security of the entire region.
