Azerbaijani authorities` statements on peace are nothing but a veil  for the outer world, former human rights defender states 

ArmInfo. It is obvious that under the pretext of gas pipeline repair Azerbaijan installed a valve enabling them to cut off the gas supply at any moment, Armenia's  former human rights defender Arman Tatoyan wrote in a Facebook  message. 

"It is a deliberate act causing grave humanitarian problems and  massive human rights violations, leaving over 100,000 civilians,  hospitals, kindergartens, and old people in Artsakh without heating  an hot water in cold weather. And this is what reflects Azerbaijan's  real intentions - a genocidal policy. I have presented numerous facts  that the Azerbaijani authorities have remained filled with intense  hatred for Armenians since the end of the war. Is it not clear that  the Azerbaijani authorities' statements on peace are nothing but a  veil for the outer world," he wrote. 

Azerbaijan has cut off gas supply to Artsakh again, the Artsakh  Information Staff reports. 

"We have sufficient reasons to stat that in repairing the gas  pipeline damaged on March 8 the Azerbaijani side installed a valve  with which it cut the gas supply a few hours ago. Taking advantage of  the unfavorable weather Azerbaijan is creating further humanitarian  problems for our population, which is a crime.

"The situation was immediately reported to the Command of the Russian  peacekeeping forces in Artsakh.  In cooperating with them, the  Artsakh authorities are taking measures to resume the gas supply,"  reads the report. 

Some experts believe that Azerbaijan allowed the gas pipeline to be  repaired for the event organized in the occupied town of Shushi with  U.N. representatives' participation. After the event, the opposite  side cut off gas supply to Artsakh again.
