"In search of the guilty": Armen Grigoryan stated that he can note  the facts that led to the surrender of Armenia

ArmInfo.On May 6, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, in a conversation with journalists, agreed with the wording of Acting Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan, according to which "the third president Serzh Sargsyan and  the second president Robert Kocharian are capitulators and traitors."

In response to a remark about whether he can confirm his words with  concrete facts, the Security Council secretary said that he could  note the facts that led to this. With reference to Pashinyan, he  pointed out that Kocharyan and Sargsyan had ousted Karabakh from the  negotiation process, and over time renounced their claims to Baku.

The day before, the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan  made a public offer to the second and third presidents to participate  in the upcoming parliamentary elections as part of a bloc called the  Alliance of National Accord. In an article published on the ilur.am  website, Levon Ter-Petrosyan reports that on March 25, at the meeting  of the former presidents of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, which took  place on his initiative, he proposed to Robert Kocharian and Serzh  Sargsyan to accept the statement he had drawn up, which said :  "Regardless of the fundamental differences and sharp contradictions  in the past, realizing our responsibility for the fate of the  country, personally not claiming to take any position in the new  system of government, we will participate in the upcoming elections  according to a list made up of political forces, public organizations  and authoritative representatives of the intelligentsia, under the  name "Alliance of National Accord". Then Ter-Petrosyan explains that  the discussion on this topic did not take place, since Robert  Kocharian immediately rejected this proposal, arguing that "in this  way he would betray the" Movement to Save Armenia "that he created.  As for Serzh Sargsyan, according to Ter-Petrosyan, he did not express  his opinion on this matter.

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered to Ter-Petrosyan. In  the evening, during government hour in parliament, answering a  question from a member of his team, Pashinyan called the first  president's proposal a "thugocratic revolution" ("thugocracy" is a  term offered by Ter-Petrosyan himself to address the power of  Kocharyan and Sargsyan - ed. note).
