Yerevan assures: All partners were provided with comprehensive  information about the weapons used by the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem  against Artsakh

The  Spokesperson of the RA MFA Anna Naghdalyan stated this referring to  the information that Yerevan did not provide information to Canada on  the use of Turkish UAVs in the NKR.

"This information, including in the form of relevant reports, was  transmitted from the first days of the war.  The reports spoke about  the participation of Turkey in hostilities, the transfer of  terrorists, the use of prohibited weapons by Azerbaijan and much  more.

To have a better idea on this issue, I will simply describe one  situation. During the war, our embassies in the countries producing  Bayraktar drones, including the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in  Canada, were instructed to appeal to the receiving side with an  appeal to stop supplying complete sets for UAVs to Turkey. As a  result of the steps taken, the Canadian company Bombardier, ignoring  its business commitments, decided to stop selling engines produced by  its Austrian subsidiary Rotax to the Italian supplier of Turkey, "she  said.

At the same time, Naghdalyan assured that similar work was carried  out in the direction of "Veskam". "The necessary information was sent  to the RA embassies immediately after it was received. The above  works were carried out in the direction of Canada, although the  Canadian side did not officially request such information. I will add  that this is not about information published in the press,  statements, but about factual data that are intended solely for  internal use. I cannot give any other details about this ", summed up  the Spokesperson of the RA MFA.  It should be noted that in the final  report on the permission to export complete sets to Turkey, published  on the website of the Canadian Foreign Ministry, it is noted that the  Armenian authorities refused to provide information to Canada on the  use of Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones in Nagorno-Karabakh.  The report  states that a former Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman stated that  the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drone was shot down by Armenian air defense  units during the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, and tweeted the  alleged wreckage of the TB2 drone. "After the suspension of the  permit on October 5, 2020, Canada asked Armenia to provide any  information that could help in considering the charges (the use of  Canadian technologies in drones - ed.). However, Armenia did not  provide such information," the report says.
