Anti-Corruption Committee, Specialized Courts of the Same Name, and  Prosecutor General`s Office of Armenia will be thrown to fight  corruption in Armenia

ArmInfo. In the context of the formation of the Anti-corruption institutional system in Armenia, it is planned to create an Anti-corruption Committee, specialized courts  of the same name, the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption and  the Office for the Investigation of Corruption Crimes as part of the  RA Prosecutor General.

This was announced by the Minister of Justice  of Armenia Rustam Badasyan on August 30 at the meetings of the  Council of Anti-Corruption Policy, presenting the finalized draft  Strategy for Combating Corruption and the program of measures for its  implementation for 2019-2022.

According to the Prime Minister's press service, according to  Badasyan, the key areas for preventing corruption will be reforms in  the declaration system, identification of industry risks, development  of an action plan, strengthening integrity and the introduction of  e-government tools to simplify administration.  In addition, as the  Minister noted, to identify corruption crimes, it is envisaged to  establish a list of corruption crimes under the Criminal Code,  criminal liability of legal entities, development of mechanisms for  confiscation of illegally acquired property, development of methods  for investigating corruption crimes, creation of a centralized  register of bank accounts. It is also planned to organize the  corresponding public education in high schools and universities,  conduct retraining courses, and also develop an annual plan for  public notification of the population.

The process will be coordinated by the Ministry of Justice. As noted,  according to preliminary estimates, 16,528,044,400 will be allocated  for general needs.
