Victor Soghomonyan: I have no doubt that Robert Kocharyan will soon  be released again, he still has much to do for Armenia and Karabakh

ArmInfo."I have no doubt that Robert Kocharyan will soon be set free again, he needs to do a lot for Armenia and Karabakh", Viktor Soghomonyan, head of the office of  the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, said.

 "Today the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the judge who had no other  choice then making a decision on arrest. "All these days we were  surprised to what extent public opinion and the public as a whole can  be ignored. That is, how one person can decide whether to arrest the  second president or not. We are dealing with unprecedented phenomena.  Soghomonyan said.

Soghomonyan stressed that as a result of rough pressure, this  decision was made again. "One can only guess how correct this  decision is, what mark it leaves in the history of Armenia and what  consequences it entails. But what happened is a shame, that's  obvious. I mean the whole process from start to the end, that is, a  fabricated criminal case, a blind goal of personal vendetta, and  routine discussions about how to catch him, who is offended and who  is not, "- said the head of the office of the second president.

He also noted that he does not doubt that Robert Kocharyan will be  set free. "I have no doubt that all this will end soon and also that  the second president of Armenia soon will be free. He needs to do  more for Armenia and Karabakh ", Soghomonyan concluded.
