Feliks Tsolakyan will take part in NA extraordinary elections on list  of Civil Contract party: he is not going to become a party member 

ArmInfo.Acting. Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia Feliks Tsolakyan will take part in the forthcoming special elections to the RA National Assembly  according to the list of the "Civil Contract" party. As Tsolakyan  told reporters on November 6 in the parliament, he will run for  parliament according to the rating system in the Shirak region of  Armenia.

When he asked whether it was difficult for him to make such a  decision, Tsolakyan noted: "Is it possible that something will change  if I say that it was difficult. I received an offer, I agreed>.  Commenting on the statements that the list of the CC's party includes  people who contributed to the revolution, Feliks Tsolakyan stated: "I  didn't have the task to assist someone. I did not walked, did not  block the streets, my assistance was in voting, in demonstrating my  attitude in the National Assembly. After that, I declared that I was  ready to support the authorities, and now I express support by  running my candidacy in the elections.  " Despite the fact that  during the election of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, he expressed a  position different from the Republicans, according to Tsolakyan, he  has good relations with them.

At the same time, Feliks Tsolakyan noted that he was in power due to  his work but due to being a member of the Republican Party of  Armenia,. "Now the situation has changed, I offer my help to the  Civil Contract party in this form. I have never been a party member  and I will not be the same, "he stressed. Tsolakyan found it  difficult to answer whether he was ready to return to legislative  work.

To the remark that he was considered approximate to the  former  president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, The Acting Head of the  Emergencies Ministry said that he had never been such, but only was a  civil servant and carried out his work within the framework of his  authority. "I never had a personal relationship with anyone since  Soviet times," he pointed out. According to him, comparing his work  experience today and in the past, one can say that it is easier to  work with the current government.

When asked what he would do if he was asked to become a member of the  "Civil Contract" party, Feliks Tsolakyan answered: "I will never  become a member of any party".
