Pashinyan: Bolton`s visit to Armenia was marked by a major diplomatic  victory

ArmInfo.The visit of US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs John Bolton to Armenia was marked by a major diplomatic victory. The acting  premier Nikol Pashinyan stated this in the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia.

"Later I will open quotes and say what I meant. But now I'll just say  that during Bolton's visit to Armenia there wasn't even a nuance that  I could classify as a diplomatic defeat. It was the other way round,  it was a major diplomatic victory" - assured Pashinyan, stressing  that all the fears associated with the visit of Bolton are not true.

It is noteworthy, he noted that after Bolton's visit to Armenia,  Russia reminded the United States that Armenia is a sovereign state,  and the United States, in turn, reminded Russia that the Republic of  Armenia is a sovereign state: "I don't think that these countries  forgot about it, but the fact that they again reminded each other  about the sovereignty of Armenia is positive," Pashinyan said .

Commenting on the Territory-for-Peace Territory formula voiced by the  outgoing US Ambassador to RA Richard Mills regarding the Karabakh  settlement, Pashinyan expressed bewilderment at the rush around this  statement: "I am surprised that this statement was surprising,  because as Prime Minister I received this formula to resolve the  Karabakh conflict is inherited from the former authorities. "

Referring to the work of Armenia in the CSTO, Pashinyan noted that  she voiced her principles and will adhere to them: "We respect the  position of other member countries, and we hope that they will  respect ours too."

Speaking about internal political processes, he stated that violent  methods will no longer be an instrument in Armenia for solving  political problems.
