Armenian Prime Minister does not see a trace of external forces in  wiretapping heads of the NSS and SIS

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not see a trace of external forces in the wiretapping of the heads of the National Security Service and the  country's SIS, he told journalists on September 12.

The Prime Minister informed that the heads of the police and the  National Security Service have already made a report following his  instruction "in the shortest time to find conspirators and subject  them to responsibility". "Everything is all right," he said,  refraining from providing more detailed information.  At the same  time, Pashinyan noted that he does not think that in the light of  recent events the parliament will be less willing to agree to  self-dissolution.

To note, an audio message of a telephone conversation between the  Director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan  and the head of the Special Investigation Service Sasun Khachatryan  was spread in the internet yesterday. During the 8-minute  conversation, they are discussing the possible arrest of former  Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, as well as criminal cases  brought against the CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and  former Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan. All the three are accused  of overthrowing the constitutional system during the post-election  events of 2008, which resulted in the death of 10 people.  After  that, in a live broadcast on Facebook, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan assured that Vanetsyan will present the circumstances  related to the wiretapping of the telephone conversation. We will  return to these explanations.  Now I want to say something else. Who  and why did it? With what political purpose?" Pashinyan wondered.  According to him, the conversation between the head of the Special  Investigative Service Sasun Khachatryan and the head of the National  Security Service Artur Vanetsyan could be listened for the purpose of  political sabotage.  "All those responsible for the murders of people  on March 1 will be answerable to the court. All those who have  plundered will have to return the loot. Robert Kocharyan, Serzh  Sargsyan, Hovik Abrahamyan, Manvel Grigoryan, Taron Margaryan, Gagik  Khachatryan: Officials of different caliber - they all feel that this  time is coming. And they want to prevent this in every possible way,  "Pashinyan said.  At the urgently convened press conference, the  heads of the National Security Service and the SIS noted, and it was  also in their telephone conversation that they did not contact the  judge, and the judge was very concerned about his security if he went  to arrest Robert Kocharyan.
