Nikol Pashinyan is not going to follow traces of appointments in the  tax and customs department, but he is not ready to leave them  unnoticed

ArmInfo.In the conditions of the Armenian reality, it is very difficult to implement personnel appointments, which will not find a negative response among the  population, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated on July  20 at a meeting with journalists, touching upon high- profile  appointments in the government, in particular, in the State Revenue  Committee(SRC) of Armenia.

According to Pashinyan, the government appointed the Chairman of the  State Revenue Committee, who is authorized to conduct a personnel  policy in the department. Nikol Pashinyan is not going to follow the  personnel appointments in the tax and customs department, but he is  not ready to leave them without attention. "We discussed this issue  several times with the head of the SRC, and I expect concrete  results, if there are no results, I will have to react," he said. At  the same time, as Nikol Pashinyan emphasized, already today the  Investigative Committee of the State Revenues Committee reveals such  facts of corruption and tax evasion, which a few months ago would be  considered far from reality. At the same time, as the prime minister  stressed, the personnel policy of the new government does not mean  that they will "sweep everything along the way with a long broom".

According to the Prime Minister, in the new government personnel  policy can be divided into 3 groups:  new employees, the so-called  "old" ones and those who worked in the former government and changed  the status under new conditions. Everyone, without exception, as  Pashinyan pointed out, will have to undergo a period of adaptation.  It is also inevitable that some will not pass the "test" period and  will themselves leave the new government. "Those who do not fit into  the logic of the new government will leave us," Pashinyan said.  In  this context, as the Prime Minister pointed out, the most important  task of the Government of Armenia is the formation of a personnel  bank, which will include all specialists from both Armenia and the  Diaspora.

It should be noted that the appointments in the new government, in  particular, in the Armenian SRC, have become the subject of  discussions. Many expressed doubts whether the ongoing personnel  policy is justified, saying that people who have  popularity as  "inveterate corrupt officials'' return to the tax and customs  authorities.
