I saw nothing, I did not hear anything: Hrachya Rostomyan

ArmInfo. "I did not see anything, I did not hear anything," Armenian Emergency Situations Minister Hrachya Rustamyan stated in an interview with journalists on July 4, speaking of the incident in the Olimpavan complex.

According to Rostomyan, he was not present at the incident with the  beating of a citizen. "I was not present, therefore, I could not see  anything," he said.

Responding to the remark that he was still present in the distributed  video, he noted: "In my presence, there was nothing like this."

Rostomyan also did not want to say that he told during the  interrogation to the preliminary investigation body, referring to the  secret of the investigation.

According to a report by the police and a video, on July 2 at about  9:30 pm, a police officer from the medical center "Armenia" received  a signal that a 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital with bodily  injuries. The latter told law enforcers that after the dispute that  arose in the Olimpavan complex, the chairman of the NOC Gagik  Tsarukyan struck him, and then he was struck by his hands and feet  46-year- old Eduard Babayan and another person whose identity is  established. After the incident, Babayan himself appeared in the  Mashtots police department. The victim also told the police that the  incident was also attended by the Emergency Situations Minister, PAP  member Hrachya Rostomyan.

In the afternoon, the victim for "unknown" reasons reversed his  testimony to the contrary, saying that he and Tsaroukyan had warm,  friendly relations, and that no one beat him, he just slipped on the  wet floor, fell and was injured, just like in the film "The Diamond  Arm": slipped, fell, lost the creature, woke up - plaster.  Just  unlike the film, the victim received no closure, and multiple open  fractures.
