According to the press service of the Armenian government, during the meeting the head of the Armenian government pointed to the assistance of the compatriots of Los Angeles and Glendale in the course of the political processes taking place in Armenia. "We hope that in the post-revolutionary period this promotion of its content will become inclusive," said Nikol Pashinyan, expressing hope that the ties between Yerevan and Glendale will further strengthen in the future.
Zareh Sinanyan noted that in the Armenian community of Glendale there is great enthusiasm for the post-revolutionary processes taking place in Armenia, which are connected with the new situation, the presence of a legitimate government and other circumstances. "Our residents of Armenian nationality are eagerly awaiting substantive developments, I am sure that there are numerous directions for cooperation, it is necessary to find the most optimal options and ensure the best result," said Mayor Glendale.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of implementing such programs that will help ensure the repatriation and maintenance of the Armenians in the Diaspora.
