ArmInfo. The chairman of the organizing committee of the Media Forum, Dariga Nazarbayeva, congratulated one of the initiators of the forum of Armen Sarkissian on the election to the presidency and wished Armenia peace and prosperity at the opening of the XV Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty.
Today in Almaty the official opening of the XV Eurasian Media Forum is taking place, in which over 600 delegates from 60 countries of the world take part.
On the first day, the forum hosted master classes for media representatives, where well-known foreign media speakers will talk about current trends in journalism. The official opening was made by the Minister of Information and Communications Dauren Abayev, akim of Almaty Baurzhan Baibek and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eurasian Media Forum Dariga Nazarbayeva.
Among the guests and participants of the Forum, former Prime Minister of Italy Mateo Renzi, representatives of various international organizations and foreign media. The agenda of the EAEU this year touches on a number of topical and important issues of our time, including global reorganization of the world, possible interaction scenarios, the concept of the green economy, the consequences of the information revolution and the role of investment.
