Newly elected Armenian President concerned about mood of the  country`s youth

ArmInfo. For modern Armenia, the ability to hear and listen, respect each other, to understand the opinion of the interlocutor is relevant. This opinion was expressed  in an interview with TASS by newly elected Armenian President Armen  Sarkisian.

Speaking about the transition to a parliamentary form of government,  Sargsyan noted that the president of the republic elected by the  parliament has a special place in it. "Along with the main duties in  the field of domestic and foreign policy, which are defined by the  Constitution, we will focus on strengthening ties with the Diaspora,  expanding its presence in Armenia, attracting investments, developing  civil society, encouraging education, science, stimulating youth.  Yes, under the new political system, all the completeness of state  power is distributed between the parliament, the government and the  institution I am confident that together we will be able to solve the  acute problems facing our society, since only a cohesive solidarity  society can effectively respond to the challenges of the time.  "Before agreeing to be nominated as a presidential candidate, I  conducted many fruitful discussions and consultations with  representatives political forces, the Diaspora, the public, and the  intelligence.In the course of these meetings, I once again saw how  important it is, how important for modern Armenia is the ability to  hear and listen, to respect friend, with understanding to treat the  interlocutor's opinion, "Sargsyan said.  Speaking about the primary  problems of the Armenian society, the Armenian President pointed to  the mood of the youth. According to him, he has in mind how young the  citizens are motivated, are determined to participate in the progress  of the country, how much they are in demand. "We can only stop the  emigration of the population and, first of all, the youth, by  creating conditions for self-realization, self-affirmation of young  people, their full participation in the construction of the state, in  the life of society, the opportunity to say their word in science,  education, business, sport Everywhere they are able and willing to  contribute, it is gratifying that in Armenia there are several very  successful examples of active involvement of young people in the  innovation sphere, information technologies, innovative forms of  education, this is the center of creative techno TUMO, IT company  Synopsis Armenia, new, modern schools and universities, I am  convinced that this trend should be gradually developed, and we are  trying to make even the army service attractive in Armenia. The  Ministry of Defense of the Republic is working on the implementation  of creative programs, which stimulate service in the army, associated  with obtaining a university education and solid social guarantees,  "Sargsyan concluded.
