Extreme day in the Armenian parliament - scandals, fights and disassembly

The beginning of the meeting was "marred" by accusations of the Yelk  bloc against the leadership of the parliament in falsifying the  results of the voting on the draft law on introducing amendments and  additions to the Judicial Code. The document, as the Constitutional  Law, was to be adopted by 3/5 votes (63 votes in favor). However, on  the scoreboard after the vote the figure 61 was lit, that is, the  document was rejected.  However, Speaker of the Parliament Ara  Babloyan said that the figure of the deputy speaker Arpine  Hovhannisyan is added to this figure, while on her business trip she  reported in writing that she was voting for the document. A deputy  from the Republican Party faction Rustam Makhmudyan also said that he  voted "for", he simply did not have a technical device for voting.

Meanwhile, the deputy from the Tsaroukyan bloc, who before the vote  announced his non-participation in it, Napoleon Azizyan, also voted  "for" the document. However, the representatives of the "Elk" bloc  tried to present this as an error taking into account the negative  position of the "Tsaroukian" bloc to the document. In view of all  this, the representatives of "Elk" insisted on the need for a repeat  vote on the document, in order to reliably understand who was behind  and who was against.

However, Vice Speaker Edward Sharmazanov said that the vote was  lawful, Napoleon Azizyan does not refute his position, therefore the  document passed.

Nevertheless, an hour later the MP from the Tsaroukyan bloc Vahe  Enfiadjian stated from the rostrum of the parliament that Azizyan,  like other MPs from the bloc, was not going to vote on the document,  his device worked by accident. "Azizyan informed the NA secretariat  about this, and he also shouted about his position from the spot,"  Enfiagian assured.

Sharmazanov quarreled with this, saying that Azizyan could take a  voice during the meeting and say that he had voted by mistake, which  was not done, therefore everything went according to the law.

The factions of the "Elk" and "Tsaroukyan" blocs fled noisily and  demonstratively to the parliament hall in protest against the  unlawful actions of the ruling majority.

However, the incident was not exhausted and continued in the more  violent manifestation in the office of the deputy from the  "Tsaroukyan" block, David Manukyan. The reason for the next heat of  passion was the fact that the deputy from the bloc, Sergey Bagratyan,  called his fellow party member Napoleon Azizyan "a prostitute" for  opposing the position of the faction in favor of the document. For  Azizyan decided to intercede another MP Arthur Manukyan, who told  Bagratyan that Azizyan is a friend of his father, and he will not  allow him to insult. The verbal skirmish gradually turned into a  fight between the thirty-year-old Manukyan and the sixty-year-old  Bagratyan. More than 15 minutes the deputies beat and insulted each  other. And only after 15 minutes their party members managed to  separate the heated deputies.
