Sharmazanov: Lavrov`s statement on the impossibility of separating  the components of the package on the Karabakh settlement is a message  sent to Baku

Statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov on the  impossibility of secession components of the package on the Karabakh settlement in problems, is a specific message to Azerbaijan, which tries to separate from the package one element - the principle of the territorial integrity of states and on its basis to resolve the conflict.

This was stated by the vice speaker of the Armenian parliament, press secretary of the ruling Republican Party Eduard Sharmazanov, summing up the results of the head of the Russian  Foreign Ministry to Armenia.

"The fact that Lavrov emphasized the need for an integrated approach  to the Karabakh settlement within the framework of a single package  is very important, this is what the Armenian side has repeatedly  spoken about, and this is yet another proof that the position of the  Armenian side is identical with the approaches of the Minsk mediators  to the background of the divergence of Baku's policy from common  approaches.This statement by Larova is a clear signal to Azerbaijan,  "Sharmazanov said.

He also considered the statement of Lavrov, in which he ascertains  the identity of the approaches of the Minsk mediators in the Karabakh  settlement, despite the divergence of the co-chairing countries in  other issues, was also very important.  Touching upon another  statement by Lavrov that "Russia will be happy to see Azerbaijan as  part of the Eurasian Economic Union," Sharmazanov noted: "When this  issue is included in the agenda, Armenia will express its position."

We should note that at a press conference in Yerevan, referring to  the Karabakh settlement, Sergei Lavrov said in particular: "Decisions  are made in many documents that have been deposited with the OSCE  Secretary General since 2007, 2009, 2011 and are thus fixed in the as  the proposals of the co-chairs, they remain on the negotiating table  in their entirety.The only thing I want to emphasize once again, as I  said in Baku, these components are formed into a package, and it is  difficult to take one, two or three and negotiate on their basis.  Because the balancer The components in this case drop out and there  will not be the same result that we all expect.
