Karen Karapetyan: There is no agreement on candidacy of future Prime Minister yet

ArmInfo. There was not any discussion with the President of Armenia on the candidacy of the future Prime Minister of Armenia, therefore, there cannot be any agreement on this matter. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan stated this at a press conference, referring to rumors circulating in the media about an agreement between him and President Serzh Sargsyan that in April 2018 the Cabinet will be headed by Sargsyan and he will assume the post of Deputy Prime Minister.

Answering the question about his future plans, Prime Minister stressed that wants to serve the Motherland and is convinced that the future will be wonderful. "And the Republican Party of Armenia will decide who is going to be the Prime Minister of Armenia in April 2018", Karapetyan stressed. At that, he shared opinion of those republicans, who find Serzh Sargsyan irreplaceable leader and professional in the security sphere.

Speaking about his membership in the RPA, the Prime Minister assured once again that made it consciously and does not regret the decision. According to Karapetyan, during the years of the international economic crisis, the ruling RPA managed to lead the country with minimal losses. Now, analyzing economic indicators, he is confident in the bright future of Armenia.
