In this regard, attempts to separate these principles and elements from each other will make the settlement process impossible, this is exactly what Azerbaijan has done for years, "Nalbandian said, quoting President Serzh Sargsyan from the rostrum of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly that the main issue negotiations is the status of Nagorno- Karabakh.
"As the president said, if the issue of the status of Nagorno Karabakh is resolved, all other issues will find their fair and logical solution, since all other issues are derived from the issue of the status of the NKR," the minister said, stressing again that resolution of all issues is possible only with the participation of Nagorno- Karabakh in the negotiations.
Nalbandian also said that on September 23 he will meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, during which the schedule of the visit of the Minsk mediators to the region and the issues of organizing a possible meeting of the two heads of state will be discussed. It should be noted that at the 6th forum of Armenia-Diaspora, Nalbandian stated that within the framework of the Karabakh settlement, those territories will be handed over, in the transfer of which there will not be a threat to the security of Artsakh. This caused a public outcry. The spokesman for the head of Artsakh David Babayan, in a conversation with the correspondent of ArmInfo, in particular, stated that all the territories around Artsakh are important in terms of ensuring its security. And the vice-speaker of the Artsakh parliament Bagram Balyan stated that the borders of Artsakh are fixed by the republic's constitution and can not be changed.
