Sharmazanov: The international community should react strictly to the  permanent shelling of Armenian villages and civilians by Azerbaijan 

ArmInfo.The policy of Azerbaijan on the permanent shelling of the border villages of  Armenia during the harvest season is impermissible and mean. The vice speaker of the Armenian parliament, press secretary of the ruling Republican Party Eduard Sharmazanov said this in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent, referring to the recent shelling of the border villages of Armenia by Azerbaijan.

"Shooting at an unarmed villager, harvesting on which his well-being  depends for a whole year, is mean and low. This behavior is inherent  in the barbarian tribes. No civilized nation will afford such a thing  in the 21st century," Sharmazanov said, stressing that the  international community should react toughly to such a criminal  policy of Baku.

To note, Azerbaijan in recent days permanently and purposefully  shelled the Armenian villages of the Tavush region, thus preventing  villagers from harvesting. So, the villages of Chinari and  Barekamavan were recently shelled, the enemy's bullets flew into  houses, vehicles and even in kindergarten, where at that time there  was the staff of the Armenian Red Cross. The damage is estimated at  tens of millions AMD. On the eve of the bombardment, the village of  Voskevan was raided. As Voskevan village elder Seryozha Aleksanyan  told ArmInfo correspondent, the Azerbaijani armed forces are shelling  the village since July 28th. "For several days now we can not  harvest". He also admitted that after the establishment of video  surveillance devices on the border, the enemy no longer carries out  sabotage attacks, but began an intense shelling of the border  settlements.
