Armen Ashotyan responded to the criticism of experts included in  Analytical Council created by him

ArmInfo. The head of the commission for foreign affairs of the Parliament of Armenia Armen Ashotyan responded to the criticism of experts included in Analytical Council created by him. 

To note, yesterday after the first meeting of the Council under the  commission of foreign affairs, some experts criticized the given  initiative, stressing that it has no specifics. Particularly, the  head of the Center of national and strategic researches Manvel  Sargsyan noted that it is unclear the Council will be busy about,  whether it will be financed or not. Ashotyan in a talk with  journalists disappointed the experts, noting that the work will be  carried on the basis of public beginnings. "The experts were often  complaining that in many questions their opinion is not considered  and the creation of the Council is a brilliant possibility to hear  them. This work is on public beginnings, as for every citizen is very  honorable to use his intellect in the favor of his fatherland. And  the  money may be earned in the science institute or in expert  bureau."Ashotyan said.  What is about the concrete functions of the  Council, according to the initiator, the essence of the creation of  the structure is the formation of a platform for opinion exchange. 

To note, by the initiative of the head of the commission for foreign  affairs of the Parliament of Armenia Armen Ashotyan, an Analytical  Council is being created under the commission which will include the  director of the Center for Strategic Initiatives Richard Kirakosyan,  the head of the Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation  Stepan Grigoryan, the head of the Caucasus Institute Alexander  Iskandaryan, the director of Noravank GFK Gagik Harutyunyan, the  former Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan, the head of the  Armenian branch of the CIS Institute Alexander Markarov expert Fund  Dzhonni Melikyan, Ruben Melkonyan, former Minister of  Ministry of national Security David Shahnazaryan, the head of the  Armenian center for national and International studies, coordinator  of Eurasia Skogen expert club Aram Safaryan, director of the  Institute of Oriental Studies Ruben Safrastyan, the ex-Speaker Tigran  Torosyan, director of the Institute for National Strategic Studies at  the RA Defense Ministry Ayk Kotandzhyan, his deputy, Vahram  Ter-Matevosyan, head of the Armenian Institute of International  Affairs and Security Stepan Safaryan, Vardan Iranist Voskanyan,  Angela Elibegova, araboved Sargis Grigoryan, the former MP Tevan  Poghosyan, head of the Center of Yerevan state University European  studies Arthur azinyan.

All the experts agreed preliminary to participate in the Council's  activities. The staff of the Committee for Foreign Affairs applied to  include into the given list genocide expert, the head of  EuroIntegration organization Karen Beqaryan offer candidacy of one of  his experts, the representative of Tsaroukyan bloc Ararat Zurabyan  offered ex head of the commission for foreign affairs of the  Parliament Hovhannes Igityan, there is an offer to include into the  Council all the heads of the Parliamentary commissions. All the  offers were accepted.
