Forecast: Destabilization in Iran can lead to unpredictable  consequences of its initiators

ArmInfo.Internal destabilization in Iran is quite capable of leading its initiators to unpredictable  consequences. Such an opinion to ArmInfo was expressed by the head of the department of Iranian studies of Yerevan State University Vardan Voskanyan.

Half an hour ago in Tehran there was an explosion at the metro  station Imam Khomeini. Information about the victims or those killed  as a result of the explosion is not yet available. This is the third  incident in the Iranian capital for this morning.

"So far, there is very little information around the explosions in  Tehran, in this light, attempts to do a deep analysis of the  situation, in particular, to try to connect this tragedy with the  events around Qatar are too early. In any case, I am more than  convinced of the ability of the Iranian leadership not only to  control the situation in the country, but also give an appropriate  response to the manifestation of terror against civilians," he said.

According to his estimates, the style of terrorist attacks on Iran is  traditional and inherent in the authors of recent attacks, however,  it is hopeless to use terror against Iranians like it is in Europe.  In his view, as a regional superpower, Iran undoubtedly has  information about the customers and the purposes of this attack.  and  the response, according to his predictions, they will not force  themselves to wait long.

"And at last, the main circumstance. Destabilization in Iran can lead  to unpredictable consequences of its own initiators, going beyond the  country and covering the region with uncontrollable chaos. I can say  that its initiators will not be able to manage such a chaotic  process. However, I'm still inclined to think that Tehran will cope  with the situation, how he coped with other similar situations", the  expert emphasized. 

At the same time, Voskanyan underscored that he shares the alarm of  the Armenian media and the expert community about the situation in  Iran, since the southern neighbor is one of the important components  of Armenia's stability and national security. Therefore, the alarm,  according to his estimates, is fully justified.  However, it is  premature, since the situation in Iran, according to his estimates,  is under the complete control of the authorities. 

Earlier, four armed men broke into the country's parliament, opened  fire and took several people hostage.  The attackers were armed with  a pistol and two AK-47. The attackers were blocked, the building was  surrounded by policemen. A special operation to seize the building  began.

Also is reported on the shooting in the territory of the mausoleum of  Imam Khomeini in the south of Tehran, there are victims. Here, the  suicide bomber blew up the explosives that were on him. In total, as  a result of both attacks, according to the latest information, 13  people were injured. As the Fars agency reports, responsibility for  the attacks was assumed by the terrorist organization "Islamic  State".
