Serzh Sargsyan  about  elections: that was a nice struggle and an  exchange of of positions and opinions  in respect to development of  Armenia

ArmInfo. Serzh Sargsyan , the President of Armenia and the head of ruling Republican Party delivered a speech in respect to Parliamentary elections held in  Armenia on April 2. 

"Yesterday was a  very important day in our country's life. We held  Parliamentary Elections, which were the best since the very moment of  independence of our country. Today we made the largest step on the  path of Constitutional reforms, transition from semi presidential  administration to parliamentary on. During these elections we saw the  unprecedented consolidation of different  political forces. There was  no power in political framework which stayed indifferent to this  struggle. This is another evidence that the Constitution has set all  the preconditions to build up our political framework properly. The   worthy representation of the opposition in the parliament will give  an option t that opposition to use the parliamentary model of  administration,  all the tools for control, which, in its turn, is  the pledge for  effective and balanced administration," President  said.  

Armenian president expressed also his gratitude to Armenian political  forces for their correct participation in the elections, and to  Armenian people - for active voting.

To note, according to Central Electoral Commission, the distribution   of forces is: RPA-771.247 votes or 49.12% Tsaroukyan bloc-428.965 or   27.32%, Yelk bloc 122.049 or 7.77%, ARFD 103.173 or 6.57%/ Armenian   Revival-58.277 or 3.71%, ORO-32.054 or 2.07%, Congress PPA -25.957 or   1.65 %, Free Democrats -14.746 or 0.9%, Communist Party 11.745 or   0.75 %. The ruling Republican Party will receive 55 mandates,  Tsaroukyan-30,  Yelk-9, ARFD-7.
