Armenian Sociological Association: The majority of votes will go to the ruling Republican Party and Tsarukyan Bloc

ArmInfo. The majority of the votes  will go to the ruling Republican Party (RPA) and the Tsarukyan bloc.  At the same time, the "Armenian Revival" party also has every chance  to be in the future parliament. The head of the Armenian Sociological  Association Gevorg Poghosyan told journalists on March 31 presenting  the results of the joint survey with the Baltic Surveys/The Gallup  Organization.

As the representative of the BS/The Gallup Organization Rasa  Alisaushkien stated, a few days before the election, the electorate's  sympathy is on the side of the two parties - the RPA, for which 30.2%  of voters are ready to vote and the Tsarukyan bloc - with 29.1% of  the vote. 9% of the respondents spoke for "Elk", mainly young people,  7% for ARF, and 3% for "Armenian Revival" and "Free Democrats". At  this stage, 13% are undecided.

Sociologist Gevorg Poghosyan stressed that the picture is not final,  as voters can still change their opinion.  In addition, there is a  problem related to the fact that people will vote also for individual  candidates, which complicates the choice of many of them. The results  of this poll showed that 31.7% of the respondents will vote for the  RPA rating candidates, and 21.8% for the candidates from the  Tsarukyan bloc.

The survey involved 1005 citizens who have the right to vote, for the  period of March 18-27. "50% of respondents expressed their readiness  to take part in the voting, 35% said they could participate in it,  however, based on the experience of past years, most likely, turnout  will be on average 55-60%," the speakers said.

Earlier it was reported that according to the poll of the Russian  Public Opinion Research Center(RPORC) in the upcoming elections, the  Republican Party will get 44%, Tsarukyan - 36%. 5% barrier will  overcome the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun, on the  verge of overcoming the barrier (for the electoral blocs the barrier  is 7%) - the bloc "Yelk" and the party "Armenian Revival".

To note, according to the results of the survey published by the  Institute for Marketing and Communication Sciences, the "Tsarukyan"  bloc is leading with 40.70%, followed by the Republican Party with  19.40%, followed by the bloc "Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian" from 8,70%,  bloc "Elk" - 4,10%, "Armenian Revival" party - 3,90%, ARF  "Dashnaktsutyun" - 3,79%, bloc "Armenian National Congress - People's  Party of Armenia" - 3, 15, the party "Free Democrats" closes the list  with 1.70%.

And according to the Gallup International Association poll, 4-5  political forces will pass in the new parliament of Armenia.  According to the poll, if the elections were held tomorrow, the votes  would be distributed as follows: RPA - 29.4%, Tsarukyan bloc - 28.2%,  Elk bloc - 6.1%, ARF - 4.8% , "Free Democrats" party - 4.4%,  "Armenian Revival" - 3.4, the bloc "Congress - PPA" - 2.9%, the bloc  "Ohanyan- Raffi-Oskanian" - 2.5%, the Communist Party Of Armenia  -1.2%.

According to the poll of Sociometer, the leader of the pre-electoral  race is the Republican Party with 38% of votes, followed by the  Tsarukyan bloc with 33%.
