Karabakh Defense Ministry: Frontline detachments of Defense Army observed ceasefire during OSCE monitoring

Nagorno-Karabakh's Defense Army refutes the false reports of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry.

"The information that Armenian side has breached the ceasefire during monitoring with the participation of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs, spread by the Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry is Baku's regular propaganda and is not factual. Nagorno-Karabakh's Defense Ministry states that during monitoring the frontline detachments of Defense Army adhered to the reached agreements and maintained the ceasefire unlike Azerbaijan, which in the end of the monitoring fired shots from automatic weapons", the statement of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry says. 

To note, on October 27, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Martakert-Tartar road section, with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign Ministry reported that the monitoring was led by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk. During the monitoring, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmen and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office crossed the Line of Contact from the NKR side to Azerbaijan's territory.  At the end of the monitoring shots fired from submachine guns from the Azerbaijani side were registered.

The Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry in its turn has spread a statement, in which accused the Armenian side in violation of the ceasefire.
