Rostelecom Armenia: Smart TV becomes available for all Armenian TV viewers

 GNC Alpha Company functioning under "Rostelecom" brand introduced Smart TV operating on absolutely new and innovative technological platform on September 9. As Hayk Faramazyan, CEO of Rostelecom Armenia announced during  press conference on September 9 all the inhabitants of Armenia including those living in the remote regions will be able to transform their TV into Smart TV with the help of a Smart TV box. 

The Rostelecom Armenia's Smart TV offers the following advantages:150 channels 6 of which in HD, parental control, VOD, SVOD, Multiscreen, MultiRoom, TSTV, EPG, Youtube, Radio, USB, wired and wireless USB mouse connection, Rutube for Kids, Horoscope, Facebook and Twitter integration.

"We have considered all the preferences of our clients when designing Smart TV. We are ensured that our product will be attractive for each family member. We plan to enlarge the applications in the future, forming appropriate Armenian AppStore in cooperation with IT specialists and companies", H. Faramazyan mentioned. 
It's the first time the company introduces such an up-to-date multimedia technology as Smart Box onto the Armenian market. This technology enlarges the TV capacities adding all the advantages of Android operational system and modern applications.

Smart services provide an opportunity to continue watching on other gadgets such as mobile phone and tablet,   to enter Youtube, use Skype etc.

Rostelecom Armenia intends to enroll Armenian engineers for designing new applications aimed at developing IT industry in the country. 
Back in June the company officially announced about strategic cooperation with ZTE Corporation and today Rostelecom Armenia has demonstrated the first outcome of this partnership.
