The Governor of Syunik and the Iranian Consul General discussed the development of bilateral cooperation.

ArmInfo. Robert Ghukasyan, Governor of Armenia's Syunik Province, met with newly appointed Iranian Consul General Davud Yayji in Kapan.

According to the regional administration's press service, Ghukasyan welcomed and congratulated the Consul General on the start of his diplomatic mission, wishing him fruitful work and expressing his readiness for close cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties mutually emphasized the importance of further strengthening and developing Armenian-Iranian friendly relations, as well as Syunik's key role in bilateral ties.

The interlocutors discussed a range of issues related to cooperation in the economic, cultural, educational, road construction, and infrastructure sectors. They reaffirmed their mutual readiness to further deepen the partnership between the two countries.
